Following configurations should be made in the system so that customer could raise a service request or the business owner could raise it on behalf of the customer

  • Ensure that relevant Service Type have been configured while adding a product. If the product is already added, you could edit the product and add the Service Types applicable. The image below shall to understand the configuration better

  • Ensure that Service Engineer role is configured as you might need to assign a service engineer to a service request. Service Engineer role can be configured following the path Settings>> Users >>  Add user("+") >> Select role as Service Engineer  

  • Ensure that Accessory  (Accessories) is configured for the product as the Service Engineer might need to select the accessory while generating  invoice via the Service Engineer app
